WNET & Something Terrible Happened To Joey

In partnership with WNET/Thirteen and in conjunction with the recently released Student Mental Health Matters: A Toolkit for Educators, a New York State public media initiative, both the Something Terrible Happened to Joey video and study guide will soon be available for educator use free of charge through PBS LearningMedia (www.pbslearningmedia.org). The national PBS LearningMedia platform is a dynamic website that offers preK-12 educators access to thousands of resources from PBS stations and partners. It features relevant, accessible, and trustworthy multimedia content that supplements classroom instruction. The inclusion of Something Terrible Happened to Joey on PBS LearningMedia allows educators across both New York State and the U.S. to access content in support of social-emotional learning that specifically aligns with Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES).
